Park Tool Dial Indicator Kit DT-3I.2The Dial Indicator Kit DT-3I.2 is a large and clear measurement dial that tacks on to the DT-3 Rotor Truing Gauge for increased accuracy when servicing disc brake rotors. Accurate and True Alignment Tool Providing greater accuracy in diagnosing alignment issues and measuring results, the DT-3I.2 attaches via bolt to the DT3. Using its elongated cylindrical tip which is big enough to work around the voids found in most rotors, and its convex/concave spacer system, the tip can be placed flush against the rotor for the most accurate readings. Spinning the rotor will then reveal its lateral run out on the dial and when the total variance is defined, the dial can be moved to your optimal position and your target variance set. This allows you to isolate the measurements outwith the target area and adjust the rotor accordingly.
