White Wine by Robert Weil from German, Germany. The Robert Weil Kiedricher Riesling Trocken is a small-production dry riesling made exclusively from fruit grown in the village of Kiedrich. Old vines, grown on slate soils with perfect southwest facing sun exposure combine to produce a wine of pedigree and filigree. Explosive aromas of rose petals, orange blossom, ripe apricot and Mirabelle plum. Silky flavors of blood orange, red plum and herbs with a hint of slate and saltiness. Drink this intense riesling with charcuterie, cheese, fresh fruit and those Danish butter cookies in the blue can.
