Perched at the top of Mount Veeder in Napa Valley, this high elevation vineyard is the sole source of cabernet sauvignon for this densely rich and concentrated, full-bodied wine. Aromas of dark chocolate and ripe mountain blueberry explode in tones of black currant, sage, and exotic black pepper. It is smooth and tingling in acidity, yet also shows length and breadth. This wine will be best enjoyed now through 2030. The 2017 Mount Veeder Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is an excellent match for rosemary-pepper beef rib roast with porcini jus, pan-roasted veal chops with cabernet sauce, or a hanger steak with pommes frites.
