The cage is made from carbon fibre and reinforced PA while the pulley wheels are made from aluminium and mounted with high-quality CeramicSpeed bearings. Specifically designed for Shimano 9100/91500, and suited to both training and racing, this Oversized Pulley Wheel system will perform better for longer, lasting three to five times longer than standard pulleys.Shimano Specific Pulley WheelsBecause of the design of the 9100 derailleur, the R&D team at CeramicSpeed tested and concluded that the best performing combination of oversized pulleys for the Shimano 9100 series is a 13-tooth upper and 19-tooth lower pulley. The design of this Shimano-specific OSPW System is very strong and stiff to ensure a high durability factor.
