Red Wine by Dalwhinnie Winery from Victoria, Australia. Very dark purple-black, clear and shiny. The initial impression is of dark small berries freshly picked from the vine. Delve deeper and you get sandalwood, vanilla pod and black pepper corns. The wine is medium bodied but in saying that it has an incredible vinosity which has to be experienced to realize just how powerful this wine really is. The structure and flavors’ are monumental with a finish that goes on and on. One of the greatest Eagle’s made to date.
