Description
The MotoSport.com Dunlop Tire Combo includes ONE Front and ONE Rear Dunlop Geomax MX33, MX3S, MX52 or MX71 Tire with the following features: Dunlop Geomax MX33: Developed with the help of top motocross pros, the all-new MX33 is the new industry standard for soft-to-intermediate terrain. Dunlop’s innovative new technologies offer superior grip, slide control, bump absorption and enhanced durability. Altered Block-in-a-Block shape on the rear tire increases surface area of the interior block, while additional tread angles enhance grip, stability and slide control. Front and rear tires include new tie bars that connect each knob, improving durability by reducing flex at the base of the knobs. New Advanced Apex Design improves shock absorption by diffusing shock through a taller, thinner apex inside the sidewall. Multiple Block Distribution provides more blocks in the rear tread pattern compared to the Geomax MX3S, increasing the contact patch for better grip and slide control. Carcass Tension Control System allows even flex throughout the tire for increased bump absorption. An all-new compound in the front and rear tires enhance durability without sacrificing the legendary grip of the Geomax line. Replaces the MX3S as the soft-to-intermediate terrain choice and includes a new rear size, 120/90-18. Dunlop Geomax MX3S: The Geomax MX3S is derived from top-level AMA Supercross and Motocross racing. New Dunlop-patented block-within-a-block knobs offer more progressive cornering action. Enhanced handling and knob durability via more flex, and less knob tearing through recessed carcass design. Superior bump absorption through new damping control sidewall rubber compound and recessed carcass design. Directional front tire design provides enhanced grip and steering feel. Superior grip in a wider variety of terrain. New directional tread pattern: Offers great traction and steering feel for a wide range of riders who have differing riding styles. Progressive Cornering Block Technology (PCBT): A Dunlop-patented block-within-a-block design that offers more progressive cornering action and aids in slide control. Enhanced Carcass Tension Control System (CTCS): Tuned carcass flexibility offers enhanced feel and steering accuracy. Staggered middle blocks: Alternating mid-shoulder knobs in the MX32 have been angled differently and are sized differently to add side grip and promote light, responsive steering while being less prone to grabbing in ruts. Controlled-rebound rubber element in the sidewall: This construction helps to damp out bounce, acting as a suspension component within the tire, so the tire can better follow the track surface. Elimination of tie-bar design: The tie bars have been eliminated to reduce the resistance toward bending within blocks. This enhances steering feel and promotes stability in muddy conditions. Chiseled shoulder block: Derived from the MX31, this chiseled block shape penetrates the surface to enhance side grip. Knob placement: Newly improved knob placement and angling reduces knob stress. Dunlop Geomax MX52: The Geomax MX52 is derived from top-level AMA Supercross and Motocross racing. New Dunlop-patented block-within-a-block knobs offer more progressive cornering action. Enhanced handling and knob durability via more flex, and less knob tearing through recess carcass design. Superior bump absorption through new damping control sidewall rubber compound and recess carcass design. Directional front tire design provides enhanced grip and steering feel. Superior grip in a wider variety of terrain. Progressive Cornering Block Technology (PCBT): A Dunlop-patented block-within-a-block design that offers more progressive cornering action and aids in slide control. Enhanced Carcass Tension Control System (CTCS): Tuned carcass flexibility from recesses placed strategically along the tire carcass to help smooth ride characteristics and allow the bike to follow a line more accurately. Controlled-rebound rubber element in the sidewall: This construction helps to damp out bounce, acting as a suspension component within the tire, so the tire can better follow the track surface. Staggered distribution of center blocks: Spreads the load on the tire and helps with impact damping and stability, especially in whoops and hard-pack conditions. Dunlop Geomax MX71: The Geomax MX71 incorporates innovative features to help deliver optimum performance in hard-pack / blue-groove conditions while also crossing over well into intermediate terrain conditions. Profile design features more tread volume (greater land / sea ratio) in the shoulders for enhanced cornering grip. Directional front tire pattern and geometric shoulder-block shape for enhanced braking grip and cornering traction, and enhanced slide control. Directional and asymmetric rear tire pattern plus “Double Tornado Wave” rear tire block distribution for optimum traction and braking ability. Unique placement of “camber traction blocks” for optimum lean-angle traction and grip when exiting corners. Dunlop Geomax Reinforced Pattern(TM) (GRP) design for enhanced wear and resistance to tread block tearing. Variable spacing between center tread blocks for enhanced performance. Recessed biting edges yield enhanced traction for greater grip throughout a wide range of terrain conditions.
