The carbon sole is complemented by a BOA closure to give you a shoe that fits beautifully and maximises your power output to the full.When you’re pushing the pace, forging breakaways or sprinting for the line you want absolute precision and comfort, and this is where they come into their own. Using high-performance DUAL FCS Fitting Closure System with high-performance BOA IP-1 reels they’re incredibly easy to adjust and dial in a customisable fit. A quick twist forward to tighten up for a sprint, and then a twist backwards to loosen off when the pace eases. Thanks to the smooth running cables, the pressure is evenly applied across the foot, enhancing comfort and eliminating any pressure-points and hot spots. The upper of the shoe is made with a soft laser vented microfibre and in combination with the anatomically shaped tongue provides a comfortable fit which easily conforms to your foot shape. Inside the shoes, the EPS Comfort insole features TSS technology (Tarsal Support System) to provide optimal support and positioning of the foot, giving a more natural pedalling motion. To the rear, an injection-moulded carbon heel cup is anatomically shaped and will not deform or weaken, keeping your foot perfectly stable as you pedal. Inside the non-slip, anti-tendonitis shaping offers incredible comfort no matter how far you ride. The carbon weave has been optimised to reduce weight without sacrificing power transfer and stability is assured thanks to careful sculpting of the shape in the plantar arch area. With four air vents, you’ll enjoy comfort even in warmer weather and anti-slip toe and heel pads (heel is replaceable) you have a sure grip when off the bike. With an increase of 9mm in cleat adjustment and an alignment scale printed on the sole you’ll always get cleat position correct.
