First the we remove the outer bark leaving the inner, cambium layer intact for texture and contrast. The finish is completed in an eight step, professional spraying process that applies stain and lacquer for a beautiful and long lasting finish. The mortise and tenon joinery system ensures a stable, strong platform for years of trouble free use. The included full-sized mattress measures 54″ x 75″ x 8″ thick. The exterior mattress shell is non-removable. Mattress colors may vary. Steel hinges and steel futon frame provide years of trouble free use.
