Wash in warm water and mild detergent and be sure it is completely air dried prior to next use. It is recommended to change filters every 6 to 8 months depending on use and how often it is washed. Keeping the filters clean will help keep the machines suction power at optimal levels. Dirty filters will restrict the air flow and suction power will be greatly reduced.
