PreMotor Foam Filter for the Select Bagged Upright Vacuum Cleaners. This filter is washable. Wash with warm water and mild detergent. Be sure the filter is completely dry before putting back into machine. It is recommended filters be cleaned every few uses and changed with new filters every 6 to 8 months depending on use and how often they are cleaned between uses. Clean filters keep suction power at optimal levels. Dirty filters will restrict air flow and lower suction power substantially.
