Red Wine by Ridge from Central Coast, California. Dark garnet-red color. Aromas of ripe plum and cherry fruits, sweet oak, and complex gravel earth. Enters with sweet bramble fruit, rich tannins, toasted oak, and complex minerality. Refreshing acidity supports a long finish. Pairs well with grilled hanger steak quesadillas with blue cheese and caramelized onions or a slow roasted rack of lamb with wild mushroom fricassee and a chestnut-sage gremolata.
