Red Wine by Aaron Wines from Central Coast, California. Deep and very dense, it opens with pure, ripe blueberry and blackberry notes, along with licorice, mocha, and shades of pepper. The palate echoes the strong core of fruit, along with caramel, toasty oak, licorice, and spice. Surprisingly bright for such a rich wine, the finish is both powerful and fresh, with tremendous length. Blend: 88% Petite Sirah, 12% Syrah
