Description
Red Wine by Atlas Peak from Napa Valley, California. Deep garnet-purple color with aromas of black current, blackberry preserves, and ripe black plums. Palate is dense, concentrated mouthfeel with a medium bodied palate of expressive black fruits with toasty mocha and caramel notes. Undertones of vanilla and tobacco round out the experience and are followed by a long, lingering finish. Pair with salt-crusted beef tenderloin, classic rib-eye roast, herbed potatoes, simple sauteed mushrooms with chives, hard cheeses. Blend: 93% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Petit Verdot, 2% Cabernet Franc, and 2% Merlot.
