The Avenue MIPS Helmet features the very same Fusion In-mould technology as deployed on their flagship cycle helmet. This technology, pioneered by Bell, takes a tough polycarbonate shell and bonds it directly to a shock-absorbing foam liner – the result is a helmet that can take the knocks of daily use and gives excellent protection in the event of a crash. At the same time, this same technology allows Bell to sculpt the helmet into a smooth and sleek design with a total of 18 air vents to ensure a cool head as you pick up speed. Dialling in a perfect fit is also fabulously easy via the Bell Ergo Fit System, perfectly integrated with the MIPS system. Adjustment is by way of a rear dial, allowing you to get the fit just as you like it for comfort and make the helmet secure, keeping it in place should you take a tumble. No-Twist Tri-Glide fasteners also keep the straps flat and in place, for even greater riding comfort. Lastly, ‘Sweat Guide’ padding at the brow draws moisture away from the forehead, ensuring no stinging sweat can run into the eyes.
