Description
Red Wine by Bodegas Beronia from Rioja, Spain. Beronia Reserva is aged for 20 months in mixed French and American oak barrels. A hybrid barrel invented by winemaker Matias Calleja, American staves and French tops. This wine is attractive on the nose with aromas of roasted almonds and walnuts followed by ripe fruit such as plum and white pepper. All giving complexity and freshness. Full bodied on the palate this wine shows balanced acidity and ripe fruit with a sweet and smooth finish bringing to mind cacao and roasted hazlenuts. A delicious wine perfect with roast meat, grilled cutlets, cured Iberico meats and mature cheeses. Drink through 2026.
