Red Wine by Ghostwriter from Central Coast, California. This is a 2.75 acre vineyard grafted primarily to Calera and Saintsbury clones. While the sandy loam soils impart ample energy and lift, this is also the most generous and Pinot-like of all the Ghostwriter bottlings. Its vigorous, healthy vines produce a wine with broader shoulders and slightly darker, riper fruit. This is quintessential Santa Cruz Pinot, and a definite crowd pleaser.
