Description
Red Wine by Marichal from South America. Tannat is a red wine grape, historically grown in South West France in the Madiran AOC and is now one of the most prominent grapes in Uruguay, where it is considered the national grape. This wine has a dark violet color, with a reddish-black glint when hold up to the light. It is very complex, delivering red and dried fruits, and spicy aromas. Smooth texture with an interesting roundness of tannins. It is considered to be a very good match for red meat, pasta, and strong taste cheeses. Recommended 30 minutes decanting before drinking.
