Red Wine by Mending Wall from Napa Valley, California. With this vintage we aimed for a wine that showed power, depth, grace and accessibility. In the glass, the wine displays a dark sanguine core with a ruby rim. The aromatic notes play lightly in the glass emanating notes of spiced plum, eucalyptus, crushed blueberries, and cocoa powder. The palate experience is where this wine really shines. Notes of kirsch liqueur, clove, cedar, fresh leather, and currant all exist harmoniously making a profile that is fruit focused with a complimentary spicy earth component.
