Red Wine by Storm Wines from Central Coast, California. Fresh soft berry fruit, roasted nuts and wet stones dominate the nose. The palate is filled with spicy red and dark fruit. The mouth feel is rounded with an approachable minerality that runs through the wine. Having worked with Rhone Varietals from all corners of Santa Ynez Valley, winemaker Ernst is drawn to the cooler sites where ripeness is reached at a lower Brix (Sugar Content). This wine was born out of a desire to make a Red Blend from Rhone Varietals that is balanced, food friendly and uncomplicated. Think of an oak fire, good friends, family, music and laughter! Blend: 43% Mourvedre, 29% Grenache, 14% Cinsault, 14% Syrah
